Global warming is already upon us, but when was the last time you had a proper chat about it?
A short light-hearted film called How (Not) to Talk About Climate Change gives some simple tips on how to broach the subject of climate change with friends and family, and co-stars communications specialist, and Climate Communication Project team member, Dr Adam Corner of Climate Outreach and YouTuber Adam Levy of ClimateAdam.
The film was produced to help start conversations about climate change during Green Great Britain Week (15 – 19 October 2018), an initiative of the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).

Comedy has the power to effectively connect with people about climate change issues. Inside the Greenhouse held a competition to harness the powers of climate comedy through compelling, resonant and meaningful videos. The videos from the 2019 winners were announced and shown to a live audience at the Stand Up For Climate Change event on 25 April 2019. How (not) to talk about climate change was awarded second place, alongside Al Gore – Man On The Street (first place) and The Climate Rock (Climate Elvis) (third place).
